Radio Theater!
Here at WonderGo we are so excited to announce our new program, Silver Age Radio Theater! We will be producing audio productions with our 60+ community in the style of the golden age radio dramas and comedies!
As part of our program, participants will:

Learn voice acting techniques.

Record their own voices as characters from a play or book.

Receive a recording of the production with sound effects and music.

Receive copies of the recording to share with friends and family members.

In order to provide this program, we need to build our collection of original scripts. They can be in a series of short episodes in the style of weekly radio broadcasts or in single recording productions. Each show should be about 10 to 30 minutes long. If you are interested in getting your show produced potentially 100's of times while simultaneously making a positive impact on the lives of our older community, this could be your chance!
Playwrights selected will be featured on our website under Team & WonderGo Playwrights. You can provide a bio and a link to your other works. You will also receive a certificate celebrating you as a professional playwright! All hours you put forth on writing this piece can be considered as community service. We will generate an official document stating your hours for use at school or another organization.
Your work should focus on the roles for seniors, but we welcome intergenerational pieces! You may submit as many pieces as you would like. For examples, check out NPR's The Big Broadcast.

Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis. If you would like your show to be considered for our fall programming, please submit as early as you can this summer.
